You can't outrun the past

Seven years after a successful writer, Nassim Hajjar, leaves her homeland of Lebanon, she receives the terrible news that her father is in a coma following a terrible traffic accident. Nassim had cut ties with her family and friends after an awful crime had been committed and she was forced to flee the country. On Naseem's return to Lebanon, a young investigator, Faris Maalouf, receives a file relating to the killing of four of Nassim's friends. Faris becomes close to Nassim as he fears she will meet the same fate as her friends, and an impossible and forbidden relationship begins to arise between them.
